Intelligent, flexible all-in-one home energy storage from Alpha ESS

Alpha-ESS is a global developer of energy storage systems for the home. Alpha-ESS Storion

The Storion is a complete, intelligent cabinet-based energy storage solution using lithium-iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, which are available in modular 3kWh units. Storion’s battery capacity can be expanded up to 18kWh, and its built-in hybrid 3kW and 5kW inverters can handle both battery and PV inputs, enabling a wide range of possible designs and applications. It also comes equipped with an adaptable energy management system (EMS) to maximise energy bill savings according to how the system is set up.

Alpha-Centauri

Alpha-ESS’s Alpha-Centauri is the company’s entry-level energy storage solution using lead crystal batteries, bringing down the cost point compared to the company’s LiFePO4 offerings. The Alpha-Centauri comes equipped with an intelligent EMS that maximises savings – and allows essential loads to remain running in the event of a blackout.

PowerPlug

The PowerPlug is Alpha-ESS’s ‘stripped down’, battery-only offering. Coming in an easily movable, bar fridge-sized cabinet, the PowerPlug can house up to 12kWh of LiFePO4 battery capacity in 3kWh segments, each with their own battery management system to ensure maximum safety and battery life. The PowerPlug can be attached to a preexisting solar system with a hybrid inverter, or with a newly installed battery inverter from compatible manufacturers.
