FREE 1.5kW (9 panel) installation for local Solar Community Representative
Solar Choice is linking up with many Local Councils and community representatives across Australia to broker a range of bulk discounts prices for Solar Communities of 50 or more people.
Solar Choice will provide a FREE 1.5kW installation for people who nominate themselves as their Solar Community Representative, and who mobilise at least 50 people in their local community to install solar energy through Solar Choice. A 1.5kW installation is nine panels, and generates enough power to obsolete more than half the average home’s energy bills.
As independent solar brokers, Solar Choice acts as an impartial and reputable buffer between the public sector and private installers. Local Councils can have the tender process managed, and be seen to be managed, at arm’s length and without favouritism.
At least one competitive local installer will be included in the comparison of bulk discount prices, so that the Solar Community has the option of fostering home grown business.
Various Councils will be making financial contributions of up to $250 for people who are early to register for their Solar Community. See links below for more information on an existing Solar Community near your postcode, including who to contact and how to register.
