My final quote was provided in mid July 2017. The company called me a few days prior to the installation and said that the rebates had dropped significantly and that while they were willing to absorb some of the cost they needed to pass on some of the cost to me or they would have to refund my deposit and let me go as a customer. They sent me an article that explained the change in the rebate, but I didn't have time verify beyond the article myself (i.e. not everything on the internet is true), it kind of felt like a scam, but hard to say. I think they were being straight with me, but I haven't had time to verify since. I should also say, the installation went fine - we changed our mind on how and where we wanted the panels placed (after about 50% of the work had been done, which cost us more money because they had to come back again, but I felt it was reasonable, given we made a change that resulted in more work. Admin people were very nice and they were very efficient at scheduling the work and I didn't have to pay the remainder (after the $300 deposit) until the work was completed.
