I am very happy with the installation which had to be done over two days due to bad weather. The installers were happy to meet my request for where I wanted the panels and the inverter. The final startup was done before the installers left and the system has been working well since then generating a total of 699 kWh in the 45 days of operation (an average of 15.5 kWh/day). The paperwork aspect has however been less satisfactory. I appreciate that the process has probably got caught up the end of year holiday break logjam but I have not had much communication from anyone despite several emails asking if there is anything I can do to expedite the process. Despite the paperwork not being completed - and therefore I am not getting any money back from the supplier for the energy fed in to the grid, the fact that the system is generating power means I have been able to "self-consume" and reduce my day time energy usage to zero most days which will obviously save money.

Chose installer due to best pre sale experience which was the end of the good experience. Sent wrong parts for 1st install attempt, no communication. Did not turn up for 2nd install attempt, no communication. System installed 10 October and no communication. Not yet being metered due to non submission of required paperwork by Energy Matters to grid owner. No idea when this will be resolved as no return phone call. Very disappointed with this company due to non existent communication after the sale is made. Calls result in answering machine and no return call. Found a number for a related company so rang them to redirect my call to a human. At the point of commencing legal action to complete the contracted works.

Eventual system was quite different to what was quoted by your site. Mostly due to the lack of knowledge I had about Solar when first looking for a quote.

Roof Juice also provided a quote for a similar system but could not compete no price or workmanship warranty. Of the 3 companies selected through solar choice, only RoofJuice got in contact with me.

There needs to be more unbiased reviews and forums for the everyday person to be able to check out all of the material being offered to them. Too many companies want to bamboozle you with facts and figures. There needs to be one website that can tell you the best panels for the best price and the best inverter to do the job. How can people make an informed decision and ask the right questions when they don't even know what the questions are that they should be asking. Too many people out there have too many vested interests. There has to be somewhere to get all of the answers in one place. I found the whole process very difficult.
