LMS solar install on new tall build
As part of a new 9m high build we used LMS to install 13.2kw of solar including a battery ready inverter. LMS worked with us to schedule in their installed and tie into the electrical system without a hitch. They were very flexible and worked to overcome problems. The end product works great! Highly recommend these guys.
Excellent company to deal with
Excellent company to deal with, sales not pushy, got back to me when I asked questions. Installers were the most efficient I have seen. Team of about four hit the ground running at 7am , whole job completed and up and running by 11am. Every thing has worked well requiring no further contact with company. A complete package of all details relating to connection etc arrived promptly

All in all a pleasure to deal with
Our sales contact negotiated a mutually financially beneficial oversizing of our original request. His integrity was impeccable with a price less than our original expectations even after being informed that we were seeking the QLD Gov Solar Battery Rebate. Sales and Administration staff were extremely helpful and polite. Installation staff were friendly, efficient and extremely tidy. All in all a pleasure to deal with.
Solar Panel - Jinko
Only been operating for 3 days so far. Performance during these overcast days has been impressive. We forfeited our QLD 44c-FiT to upgrade from original 4.2kW system and have no regrets in future proofing our solar independence from grid-outages with this configuration using Sungrow Hybrid Inverter and Battery.
Solar Inverter - Sungrow
Installed Sungrow Hybrid Inverter SH10RS. Although the iSolarCloud mobile App is a bit hard to navigate, most of the default settings are perfectly adequate for our needs and the primary graphics screens reflect most of the information of interest to us. The Inverter handles the interaction between the Grid, PV-system and Battery admirably.
Battery - Sungrow
Installed Sungrow Battery SB160. Although the iSolarCloud mobile App is a bit hard to navigate, with the configuration we have we can take our time to discuss appropriate settings with our Installer over time. With the Sungrow Hybrid Inverter the interaction between the Grid, PV-system and Battery is fascinating to watch especially at dusk and morning. With our set-up, the 6-7kWh depleted from the Battery overnight will typically recharge by 9am the following morning.
LMS Electrical were brilliant
LMS Electrical were brilliant. Ray in sales was extremely helpful, and patiently answered my multiple questions. I did get 3 quotes and the interesting thing was that each configuration was quite different. As it turned out Ray's quote was the most complete and did not require a rework (as did the others). The second key factor was that LMS themselves provided their own employees to do the install. There were no 3rd party contractors involved. The install team were great they turned up on time, the did the job and cleaned up after. They were informative, good natured and a pleasure to deal with.

The Sungrow hybrid inverter is great, the device is connected to the Wi-Fi to provide data to my iPhone, it is also connected to a hosted Sungrow system monitored by LMS. The connection to the Sungrow server required the password of my Wi-Fi router, which I dutifully entered into an LMS/Sungrow system. The hosted Sungrow/LMS system allows LMS (and I assume Sungrow) to monitor the inverter and push through patches etc. I will admit that I am concerned with a 3rd party having access to my router (inside the firewall) via a password. The vulnerability is clearly that if the hosted system is hacked, access to my Wi-Fi is possible and I assume details of my address etc. I understand that I can effectively disable the access by changing the password. The app is easy to use, immediately informative and if you want you can dive into a heap of detail. I would very much like the opportunity to download the data that the app collects, I would love to run some code over it.

The team from LMS Solar and Electrical were amazing from first contact to quote and organise replacing old solar panels to installation. The team who came out to install were all professionals and wouldn’t know they were here after they packed up and finished
