Matthew Jones and his team at MJJ’s Solar have been working hard for many years to bring solar power to more families and businesses throughout the Central Coast, Newcastle, Port Stephens, and the Hunter Valley.



We have 2 central locations to serve customers across a wide region, introducing solar energy and its many benefits to more people every day!



Over the years, we have completed many compelling projects that have changed local communities for the better.



It’s our intention in everything we do to have a positive impact on the world around us, and we are helping others join this effort by investing in renewable energy.



From installation to maintenance and upgrades, we have enjoyed a very successful past two decades as we handled projects across commercial, residential, and rural properties.

Inverter failed after 4 years, replaced without issue. It failed the week before Australia day long weekend and did take 3 - 4 weeks to be replaced . The solar edge monitoring system is excellent, very easy to see what you are producing and using. Easy to see previous days or comparisons with previous months/ years

Very happy with the pre-sales process. Install of a SolarEdge HD-Wave with 13.2kW panels went smoothly and was all complete by 3pm, no mess left. Follow up emails to make sure I was happy with the service @ 6 and 12 months post install.

Have the SAolarEdge HD-Wave, would have liked to go with the SolareEdge Energy Hub (future proofing), but was not yet available at time of install (approx 6 month wait). But happy with the HD-Wave. No battery yet...if only they'd become cost effective. :)

MJJS came onsite with a team of 5, and were all complete by 3pm. Its now 6 months on and still very happy. Would like to have been able to install more panels due to an East/North/West layout, but limited by government to 1.3 x inverter size.
