Absolutely do not waste your money!

Absolutely do not waste your money! A salesperson came out, sold us the system, and made all kinds of promises that have never been met. From day one, the system has underperformed. If we had known what a disappointment it would be, we never would have gone through with it. Now, we're locked into five years of payments for a product that doesn't deliver. We’ve tried reaching out to Origin Energy multiple times to address our concerns, but they've consistently ignored us and swept the issue under the rug. Their lack of accountability and support is beyond frustrating. This entire experience has been a complete waste of money! Attached is a copy of the workings from the sales rep that sold us the solar panels. You will see at the bottom of the page he has our quarterly bill should be approx. $25, this was the only reason we went ahead with solar. From these working these are the figures we had for our quarterly bill: • Repayment of solar $143.59 per month ($430.77 per quarter) • Electricity Bill $25 per quarter • Total per quarter $455.77 The reason this was so appealing to us was, the fact we would be paying the same amount per quarter as before we had the panels. So effectively there was no cost difference to us to install them. Our current amount we are paying after installation is as follows: • Repayment of solar $143.59 per month ($430.77 per quarter) • Electricity bill $512 • Total per quarter $942.77 As you can see from the above, the amount of savings we were promised to what we actually are receiving is significantly different. How can this be acceptable, that a sales rep can give false and misleading information and sell a product that doesn’t perform to what was promised? The billing expert I spoke with this morning said $25 per quarter is not achievable, even $100 is unachievable. We entered a contract for 5 years based of false information provided to us by origin sales team, from my understanding this is not legal. Is this standard practice for Origin to provide false and misleading information to entice people sign a contact? What options does Origin have to rectify this?
Solar Panel - GoodWe
Underwhelming Performance: "GoodWe products have consistently underperformed from the moment they were installed. Their inverters seem to struggle to deliver the promised efficiency, and I’ve seen a noticeable drop in energy output compared to other brands. Misleading Sales Tactics: "I was sold on a promise of high performance and reliability, but GoodWe's system has not lived up to the hype. It’s clear now that their sales tactics were more about closing a deal than delivering on their commitments. Sweeping Problems Under the Rug: "It’s disappointing how GoodWe dismisses genuine customer concerns. They seem more interested in downplaying issues than in providing real solutions or addressing the root of the problems. Wasted Investment: "Choosing GoodWe has been one of the worst investments I’ve made. I’m stuck with a system that doesn’t deliver the savings or performance I was promised, and I regret not going with a more reputable brand. Frustrating User Experience: "From installation to operation, using GoodWe's solar products has been nothing but a headache. The lack of user-friendly features and constant troubleshooting have made this an exhausting experience.

everything went smoothly. No complaints. Origin gave free credit, repayable monthly over 2 years.
Solar Inverter - Fronius
The access via web browser is not intuitive, but I don't use it anyway. I get all my operational details from the associated Tesla Gateway.
Battery - Tesla
Has occasionally gone off and needed a reboot to get back into production. I needed to call Tesla support once and they talked me through the reboot. Labelling of the various circuit breakers varies somewhat from the terms used in the Tesla documentation. I don't know whether that is a difference in terminology between USA and AU.
Installation was ok but questionable work quality with power cables in roof space held up with cable ties...origin were slow to pass on request to update meter and it was only my follow up phone call that got it done....over 2 hours on phone to get connected to origins power boost plan...something that they had set up, and sent me an email stating it was a simple phone call....dropped the ball there origin...
