Are you really after an off-grid system?
Despite surging interest in home battery storage, the vast majority of solar & battery installations in Australia are still grid-connected these days. Just because a system has batteries does not make it an ‘off-grid’ system (although this is a common mistake). Grid-connected solar & battery systems allow you to source most of your energy needs from your solar panels and your battery – while still having a connection to the grid as a ‘backup’ for when the weather is bad or your batteries are fully drained.
