Due to a steep rise in energy costs the Business Manager reached out to Solar Choice in September 2017 to asses this rise and their consumption and look at how solar could benefit them. They had 2 meters for each of the buildings they occupy and both were deemed excellent fits for a solar installation.
Following a prompt Business Case turn around from our in-house Engineering Team the client looked to the next stage and speak with one of Solar Choices Installer Partners on the proviso they could qualify for The Tasmanian Energy Efficiency Loan Scheme (TEELS).
Following the introduction and guidance on the TEELS application an installer was decided upon. The decision was to proceed with 1 x 30kw system for the larger building and 1 x 6kw system for the smaller using Trina Solar panels and SMA inverters.
