Their are reports of a 5 year labour warranty however we’ve not been able to verify this claim with the manufacturer and it’s not available in any of their products documentation.
Aquatech also promotes an extended 7-year parts and labour warranty through a conditional offer.

Installation Photos
Looks good, does exactly what is claimed by the company, great for a household of 2 with an occasional 3rd or 4th person. I use the standard setting with the power coming from my solar battery system. Start heating the water at 10:00 am and it is always finished by 11:00. The unit is as loud as small airconditioning unit but being run between 10:00 and 11:00 in the morning is never going to disturb anyone evern though the unit is right next to a bedroom. It is white noise anyway so it is not going to wake anyone up or stop them getting to sleep once they are used to it. The app is serviceable, not great but that doesn't really matter. You stop looking at the app about a week after you have the unit installed. Do you really need to check the temperature of your HWS while you are at work? As with any appliance the main thing you can't tell and I can't tell you here is how long it will last. I will try to remember to update but at this stage I am impressed with the unit.
Works as described, low noise. Value for money.
Aquatech Rapid X6 - so far, extremely happy with how it is performing. Plenty of hot water, as required. Initially I set up timers directly on the unit and that worked well, allowing me to run the unit only during off peak and daytime hours. I've now set up the same timers using the wifi app and they are also running well. I love the control given by the timers and the wifi app is a great way to see what the system is doing and to control timers and operation, from the comfort of your lounge room. Very happy with the product so far.

The Aquatech was well priced, connects to WiFi which lets me set timers and check the temperature from my phone. It also has a non sacrificial anode which hopefully means many years of trouble free service. I have my timers set to turn on twice a day and it usually takes 1.5-2.5 hours to heat up to 60C.

Early to comment on performance but their Wifi system is good and installer is so far supportive.
Hot water is nice and hot and heat pump is quiet.
Price was certainly a major factor as well as size & warranty. The heat pump I installed had many positive reviews, had a wi-fi app, was relatively quiet, has 5 heating modes & a back up element if required.
We chose Aquatech because my brother inlaw has one and gave it a thumbs up and it is also rated highly by Solar Choice. I was warned to stay away from the cheaper heat pumps.

Reviews and information I found made Aquatech the obvious choice for me. First impressions are very good. water is hotter than my old instantaneous gas unit. Noise was a concern for me, but this Dynamic X8 is so quiet you can barely hear it from a couple of meters

Aquatics X8 Dynamic is a very silent system with low noise. Water heats up quickly and never runs out. We have 4 people in our house and the 268 litre tank seems good enough for us. Another highlight is the low electricity consumption. Despite the vintage look of the tank, it works perfectly with no issues. I recommend this system.
