I just found this page, otherwise I would have giver this review 12 month ago ! Comments regarding the shoddy installation and non existing costomer service as follows. To Start off: No installation or warranty documents were supplied after the installation. 1) We noticed a rattle/vibrating sound from within the heat pump when operating. It is noisy & is disturbing us and our guests during the night. 2) The heat pump is installed directly in front of the water filters - which will make it very difficult for KVGC to replace the water filters. The access is highly compromised. (See photo) 3) We noted numerous locations of mechanical damage on the brand new heat pump unit (that is, dings & dents). This damage to the cooling system of the unit may compromise the performance of the system. (See photo) 4) We noted that the plastic base under the heat pump is chocked up by an old piece of wood (great for Termites) in an unsuccessful attempt to level the unit. (See photo) 5) The tank is not installed in a plumb position. It is totally out of level & leaning. (See photos) 6) Most importantly, the heat pump is not installed in the location we requested (as in our email dated Nov 1, 2023). That is, under the cabin! We did ask that if this was to be an issue, to contact us first. 7) Phone calls and email requests to address the issue were ignored. 8) To top it all off, try to find the company office of Astra Green Solutions as advertised at 3/87 Jedda Rd. Preston NSW 2170. This unit 3 at 87 Jeddah Rd is used as a storage for the unit 2 tile shop (see photos) 9) They are also trade as Astra Green Solar at this (tiler storage) address.

Most Pathetic company ever dealt with! Useless instalation crew! Installed 11 months ago and STILL DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY!!! Still looking into the problem. Staff comes an goes. DON'T GO NEAR THEM!!! THEY WILL ROB YOU!!

I had my heat pump installed Nov 2023. The process was seamless and problem-free. I did not leave a review at that time although I should have. A five-star rating for the purchase/install. This weekend the heat pump failed after 18 months. I rang Astra Green Solutions Monday morning and was immediately connected with their service team. After sending them diagnostic information they confirmed, on Tuesday, that a team would visit me on Wednesday. Wednesday morning they replaced my heat pump and I couldn't be happier with the whole process. I was ALWAYS able to talk to the service team! This is usually very difficult with other service departments. They were always polite and very professional. I never received false promises although I was at the time pushy as I was frustrated. A very good company to deal with. Highly recommended by me. Well done Shanki and Ekta.

After doing lots of research on the different heat pump types we settled on the Dark Knight largely because of the price and the 315L tank size. After having it for a month we couldn't be happier. Easy to use, and it is able to reheat within 4 hours each day which is the window our electricity plan provides cheap electricity. Exactly what we wanted. It's whisper quiet and the electric boost is a great add on also.
