I couldn't be happier with the service and installation of my 9.9kw three-phase smart hybrid inverter and 9 stack, 41.93Kwh battery that I had installed last week. Fred was very helpful and clearly explained both what I was getting and the process for installation once I agreed to the price for the inverter and battery. Due to the 10Kwh solar panels that I installed 4 years ago, I had to upgrade my inverter as I have 3-phase power. Fred provided a very affordable quote (best of the three I received) and provided updates on the installation process as we progressed. Liqun was booked to arrive at 9am on Tuesday and turned up 1 minute early (a rarity when dealing with contractors). He and his assistant explained what they would be doing, let me know when they were about to turn the power off to the house and once installed, set up the app information with me on my phone. Having dealt with a lot of tradies both personally and through my work, they were fantastic. On time, polite, respectful and best of all, they cleaned up after themselves!!! There were no wire trimmings, bits of cardboard or any mess left behind. App and battery is working great with the app clearly showing my power usage, solar input, input/export to the grid and I have already seen a big decrease in my usage from the grid. Very happy with all aspects of the service provided by Aussie Solar Batteries.

3 months after the installation the battery still is not working and remains totaly discharged, no resolution despite numerous phone calls and emails. It is obvious that the installation was not completed properly. My last emails and phone support requests remain unanswered.

With government generous rebate on solar battery I have decided to get one and connect to my current solar panels system. The biggest question was what company to engage and trust with this task? Glad that Solar System Pty Ltd / Aussie Solar Batteries came to my attention through Google search. By choosing this company not only I’v got best price on 42kw system but also professionally job done all the way. Couple persons I have dealt with come to my praise for professionalism and dedication to customer : first Jasmine was there from start to finish organising and promptly (despite high volume demand) answering to all my inquiries in professional manner. I must also praise electrician Eric and his team of dedicated techs who manage to finish installation of battery system in one afternoon despite very strict solar batteries installation requirements. I was so impressed with this team work of Aussie Solar Batteries that I can highly recommend to anyone thinking to go the same route and install solar battery at they premises by choosing them. I first enquired about The Fox ESS 42kw battery through Aussie Solar Batteries on 6th Jan and it was installed on the 5th Feb. The process was absolutely seamless and although its only been a few days since installation I am very happy. Previously I had 2 separate 5kw solar systems with Fronius and Goodwe inverters which were replaced with a new 10kw Fox inverter. The last 3 days produced more kwh than ever before due to now having a Dynamic Connection while my battery hasn't dropped below 56%. The installers listened to my requests on battery and cable placement and didn't just take the easiest option and were very professional. Very happy with the installers. As one negative. During the application phase I needed to send detailed photos of the meter box and where I planned to put the battery and inverter. When the installers arrived they explained the regulations prevented the battery being installed where I had planned. This should have been identified in the application phase. Although it was a "surprise" on the day I'm still happy with where the battery ended up. BTW - there are no hidden costs for a standard installation.

Had my solar and battery system installed by Aussie Solar Batteries a few weeks ago. I purchased a 42kwh battery with 6.6kw solar panels to go with my existing solar system. There was a bit of delay in the installation date, and their communication could be a little better; but I'm extremely happy with the result once installed. Simon and his team were very friendly and professional, they installed the system very quickly with everything connected really neat. Overall, very happy with Aussie Solar Batteries and the Fox ESS battery and inverter system, highly recommended for those looking to install solar and batteries.

Overall great experience with Aussie Solar Batteries. Quote was completed in November 2025, with installation carried out in December 2025. A small amount of re-work was required, however I was pleased with the overall experience and final outcome. While the Fox ESS system is relatively new to Australia, it’s widely used in the UK and has performed faultlessly. Since December, the most I’ve drawn from the grid has been around 0.3 kWh per day for system handshaking, pretty much running off-grid. As with most installs, the end result can depend on the subcontractor, but head office was responsive and willing to make it work. Overall, a positive experience and I would recommend these guys (ignore the noise you see on Facebook, it's probably other business bagging them out). They DC coupled my existing 6.63kW array, installed an additional 5.28kW array, removed my old legacy inverter and installed the 42kWh Fox EQ4800 stack, paired with the 8kW inverter. Have 3x backup circuits on via an automatic transfer switch too.

After cautiously assessing Aussie Solar reviews, I also visited their warehouse at Rose Hill to gain trust that Aussie Solar was real and could deliver a home battery as advertised. Their warehouse was basic but gave me sufficient confidence to proceed. The electricians who installed the battery were very professional and efficient in their work. ASB looked after the Gov rebates, so only full payment was required after the battery was installed. No risky deposits needed. The battery looks amazing and performs just as expected. I have confidence that the FoxESS battery will perform well for years to come. Aussie Solar have really brought some competition to the market. Great work Aussie Solar Batteries.

The sales process was easy and smooth, super - speedy too. I started my enquiry in bed on my phone at 8am and the next day the professional installers Bass and Robbie where here to install our battery. I found them to helpful and polite and left our house clean and tidy. By lunchtime the battery was delivering power to our house!!! I would recommend them any day of the week!

The 41kWh battery and 6.6kW solar system was professionally installed by Aussie Solar. The FoxESS battery system works well al be it a few software bugs that have been sorted out. The system is compatible with Amber electrical system managing system. The sales process was smooth and trouble free. It lacked detail but it was fully inclusive with no hidden issues. The installers were friendly, accommodating and effective. they completed the install in one day. There was little on-site instructions and the back up was slow. to react. Overall I am very happy with the installation.

42kWh Fox ESS EQ4800 Battery with single phase 10kW Inverter installed through Aussie Solar Batteries. It took a couple of attempts before date and exact install location was determined, but we got there. Thanks to Sarina and Imran for their support and organising very professional installers. I am so happy with the result. Early days, but it seems like a quality product with the software intelligently doing what I would expect it to do. Compact and runs cool as a cucumber in my garage.

We purchased a 42Kwh Fox ESS EQ4800 Battery and H3 Smart 15kw 3 phase Inverter. It was installed By Aussie Solar Batteries. The sales processing was committed, enthusiastic but not overly aggressive. Pre negotiation sales material was generally fully described (almost) and has since improved further. Smooth and quick. The system was installed in under 13weeks probably because of being located in Wollongong. We had ours placed inside our sub floor storage area. The instillation performed by Luke of Maveriq PTY Ltd was is neat, tidy and effective - fabulous operator. The Battery and Inverter seem well made and functions as expected. The Fox Cloud 2.0 App is very easy to use, the Battery can be controlled remotely. At first i was a little concerned with Fox, being a relatively new company. But after much research i felt confident enough to go ahead.

Hi, I was concerned about the low price but it is the way the batteries incentive worked. I am very happy with the system, I had a 6.6 kw solar panel system installed 2 years ago. I wasn’t happy with it, most of the power produced was going to the grid for 4 c a kw. My house is 3 phase and the inverter was single phase, I wasn’t happy with this but was told this was best. I didn’t ask many questions then. I did this time. Now the system is powering my house, charging the battery and still exporting power to the grid. Maybe more panels for winter, wait and see. The battery , if low, can be charged at off peak rates easily. The Aussie Solar people were very efficient, when I rang, answered all my questions. The only problem I had was my phone lost contact with the system on the 2nd day. I eventually found I had to stand close to the system to log back in. The electrician, installer, William was great, answered all my questions and put in a long day. He followed up to see how I was going. Happy to recommend this Company and William. Greg

The company was great to deal with. The installation was great. There was a problem getting the 10KW inverter so I settled for an 8 KW inverter. They took off the price difference for this. The system is working great. Overall I am very happy with the product and the company. I have recommended them to others.

We chose Aussie Solar because they gave us a quick and easy quote no crap questions just got on with what was need to be known. Very competitive quote once we agreed they emailed me the final documents to view and sign. When I asked for explanation they offered me an explanation of why it was needed and I sign on line. A day later I got a phone call asking if they could do it the next day - we agreed and on Sunday morning they arrived and installed the system no deposit they said I will be billed 7 days after installation - very meet work and cleaned up afterwards. Some issues with logging on to the system but it was resolved I was used the wrong name. Seems to be working fine I just need to see how we go with the next bill.

I have found out post battery installation that my house has a separate controlled load meter so we are still using some grid power. The initial sales consultation, engagement forms or installer did not notify or advise about controlled load metering which I have now been advised that to rewire is a separate charge by a licensed electrician - paying extra for this service is not a problem but it would have saved me a lot of hassle if I had prior notice of this arrangement and could opt for the battery electrician to provide this additional service on the day of installation. The installation was professional and problem free however I am not an electrician so I would like to see better service and advice from this company in the future and for them to take the time to ask questions and consult our needs prior to locking in the sale.

I had the 42KWh FoxEss EQ4800-L9 battery and 8kW FoxEss KH8 inverter installed for my existing solar panels about 2 months ago. It included fire barrier and replacement of existing inverters for DC-coupling. The installation was professionally done within a day. About a month after the install there was an issue with the system drawing power from the grid even though the battery was fully charged. The proprietor, Sunny, was quick to respond and brought along a team from FoxEss to investigate on a Saturday morning. The issue was quickly resolved by replacing a faulty CT-clamp which monitors power consumption. I am impressed by the professionalism and responsiveness of both Assie Solar Batteries Group and FoxEss throughout my dealing with them from quotation, sign-on, preparation for installation, the installation itself and the after-sale customer support.

After reviewing quotes from multiple suppliers went with Aussie Solar Battery Group. Great decision. From agreement day to install and operations, smooth process, no hiccups. Tradie was on top of things. No complaints.

THE SALE PROCESS WAS SMOOTH, EASILY DONE. THE INSTALLERS WERE ON TIME, FRIENDLY, AND TIDY ON THE DAY. I DID NOT NEED ANY post-installation support, AS THE BATTERY SYSTEM WAS AUTOMATIC. During the day, WE USE SOLAR POWER, AND AT NIGHT, WE USE THE BATTERY POWER THAT WAS CHARGED FROM THE SOLAR PANELS. JOB WELL DONE.

Post-installation support appears to be poor. No proper contact number for support. The ESS Fox batteries were installed well along with inverter. However, the battery system was not connected to the solar panels and its charging from the Grid. My retail power suppler has already warning me about a big bill (in excess of $500 for 60 days period). I have requested support from Aussi Battery Group to connect the battery system to the PV system, however have not received any response to date (its already been over a 2 weeks since the installation). It's been radio silence.

I was checking many companies and this was the best deal and so quickly processed and installed. I am now 97% self sufficient. The government subsidy brought the large battery within my reach.

I have had a number of post installation enquiries with Phil, and he has been very proactive in providing what I needed. Install less than a week after quote, no deposit required! Suggest a more comprehensive commissioning and end user training procedure. Some IT issues but resolved on the day, my stuff! Enquired with FOX support re wired data dongle only to be told does not exist, 30 second google search says otherwise

I had a great experience all round with ASB. The salesman on my initial phone call wasn't pushy but was very informative, and quickly sent over a comprehensive quote. Once I signed the contract, I waited a few weeks for an install date, which was very reasonable given how busy they are since the introduction of the battery rebates. The install of my new 13kW solar system, 42kWh FoxESS battery and 10kW inverter was all done in a single day - the team were professional, did a clean job and tidied up after themselves. Everything has been working perfectly since, and I didn't have to pay a cent until 7 days post-install - I know that some companies require a deposit, but ASB don't. Overall, highly recommended.

This company is very funny. I suspected I was being scammed? They did not require a deposit, and after installation they did not take the money immediately but sent the invoice after 1 week. I already had solar panels installed a few years ago and spent months researching the right battery setup before signing with Aussie Solar Batteries. I was in constant contact with the owner, Sunny, asking endless questions about system design, inverter compatibility, battery sizing, how to remove my controlled hot water load and integrate a Catch Power solar relay, and how all of this would work with the GloBird ZeroHero electricity plan which gives three free hours of grid power each day. Sunny was incredibly patient and always happy to explain things clearly. His expert advice helped me confidently settle on a 42 kWh battery paired with an 8 kW DC-coupled inverter, which turned out to be the perfect solution for our household. As promised, no payment was required until after installation. About five weeks later, Andrew and his offsider came out to install the system. They were punctual, professional and even managed to relocate the battery and inverter three metres further down the house than originally planned without any fuss. The install was neat and done to a very high standard. I’ve now been running on the new battery and GloBird plan for over a week and haven’t once depleted the battery – even with a family of seven home throughout the day! Once I switch the hot water over to the Catch Power relay, I’ll be almost completely off-grid cost-wise, and at this rate I’m hoping the system will pay itself off in just 18 months. The price was unbeatable compared to every other supplier I spoke to. I saw people online saying it must be “too good to be true” or a scam – but I can confidently say my experience has been nothing but excellent. I purchased a Fox ESS 10kW Hybrid inverter and 42kWh EQ4800 battery stack from Aussie Solar Batteries. I was able to AC couple to integrate with my existing PV system. (6.6kW) After signing up, I was a little nervous, but visiting the Sydney Showroom and speaking with Phil alleviated my concerns. Also, the fact that no deposit or payment was required until after the installation was complete gave me further peace of mind. Naz and Matthias were very helpful and responsive through the cooling off period and installation booking, to answer my queries about the system design and implementation, along with providing updates on the status of approvals and progress. Overall, I am very happy and would recommend Aussie Solar Batteries.

Had my 42Kw Fox battery installed by ASB and have to say the process has been pretty good, install was done up to a good standard and everything has been working fine for 2 weeks now, definitely recommend.

The sales process was great. A short discussion with Sunny from Aussie Solar Batteries, determined our existing solar and Electrical Load including Ducted and Split Air Conditioning, Electric Oven, Hotplate and Hot Water. The quote we received from Sunny was easy to understand and included a DC coupled 15Kw 3-Phase Fox Ess Inverter with Blackout Protection and a 42Kw Fox Ess Battery that included everything we discussed and was well priced. Andy, the installer was great. He found a problem with the proposed Installation plan. After a short discussion, Andy proceeded to install the equipment in a professional manner. Andy and his apprentice turned up on time and cleaned up after themselves. I requested Sunny inspect the installation himself. Sunny and two FoxEss representatives came to my home and inspected the installation of the FoxEss Inverter and Battery. They also demonstrated the operation of the App. I am very happy with the installation and the system operates very well. We are no longer exporting the bulk of our solar generation. Instead our solar production Recharges what power we use overnight which is typically 25Kw and the balance of our solar production powers our home during the daytime.

6-8 Weeks of wait before install, so pretty Fast! Aussie Solar Batteries did a great job of delivering the install and the system seems to be working well! I am now 100% self sufficient with a 42kw battery and 8kw inverter with an older 6.6kw solar system! Thanks also to TANSAW solar for the excellent install and support.

Dealing with Aussie solar has been one of the easiest experiences! Emily in particular, from start to finish the process has been made easy and stress free. She has been super helpful and has gone above and beyond while helping me through the process of getting a battery. She put the time in to choosing whats right for my home, the installers also done a very good job! They were friendly, helpful, punctual and installed the app and showed me how to use it! We havent needed post installation support yet but our sales consultant has reached out to make sure everything is working perfectly. If I could recommend any company to get a battery would be Aussie solar :)
