Since Day 1, our installation has been a nightmare. Aesthetic Damage: They mounted the inverter right on the front facade of our house. It looks like a "bulging pimple" and has completely tanked our home's curb appeal and resale value. Defective Install: Every morning, we are woken up by a loud "thumping" noise coming from the panels. "Pay-to-Fix" Scam: When we raised these issues, their response was insulting. First, they asked if we could just "live with the noise." Then, they told us they would only fix their eyesore of an installation or the thumping if we paid them extra money.Everything with this company is a cash grab. They want extre money to run cabels properly and extra money for an inverter cover. They expect the customer to pay for their laziness and lack of planning. We paid for a professional service, but we got a fraudulent experience. I am calling on all other customers who have been scammed by Alka Solar to speak up. We are looking into taking this to A Current Affair to ensure this company stops taking hard-working people for a ride. You don't owe them a cent more—they owe you the service you already paid for!

1 Star – Endless Promises, No Action (Following Up Since Early January) I have been following up on a simple fix since early January. It is now March, and the issue is still not resolved. Over these two months, I’ve repeatedly been told: “Team is very busy with installations.” “Will organize it asap.” “Will sort it out on Monday for sure.” “Next week for sure.” “Please give me time till Monday.” “So sorry for the late reply, will organize asap.” The pattern has been the same: reassurance, delay, silence, repeat. I understand businesses get busy. But being busy is not an excuse for ignoring customers after payment. What’s most frustrating is not the delay itself — it’s the constant false timelines and lack of accountability. If you tell a customer “Monday for sure,” then don’t follow through, and this happens multiple times, it stops being a delay and starts becoming poor service. At this point, I’ve spent more time chasing them than the actual fix would probably take. If you’re considering this company, just be aware: After-sales support may require persistent chasing. Timelines given may not be honored. “ASAP” might mean months. Very disappointed with the professionalism and follow-through.

I had a positive experience with AYKA Technologies for my 12.75kW solar and 24.18kWh battery installation. Pearl was excellent during the initial consultation, taking the time to understand my energy needs and recommending a system size that matched my requirements. She was informative and patient with all my questions, which made the decision-making process much easier. The team remained responsive throughout the five-week process, and they completed everything within the timeline they promised. The installation itself was neat and tidy, though I was a bit disappointed to discover on installation day that the panels had been swapped from AIKO to Jinko without prior confirmation with me. While the subcontracted installers did quality work and the system is performing well, I would have appreciated being informed about the panel change beforehand. That said, the overall experience was good, the team was professional, and they've been helpful with any follow-up questions I've had. This is my initial review based on the installation experience. I'll do another review after I've had some time to use the system and see how it performs over the coming months.
