Wish I had chosen another EV charger

Installation was back in May 2023. Installers were fine - they had installed an ABB EV charger before, I believe. I have had to have them back as there were problems with the charger, but most of the problems are with the associate app.
EV Charger - ABB
I have had so much trouble with the app that I installed - the main problem was that it didn't allow scheduling of charging sessions. To do that, I had to get the legacy app that it replaced - which is old and not convenient. Not only that but if the phone with the app on it went more than a few metres away from the charger, any charging would stop and a scheduled charging session wouldn't start. I was in regular contact with ABB about the problems and some of them were slowly sorted out. Not the ability of the current app to schedule a charging session though - this still is not possible. I ran out of patience with trying to get them to fix them and wrangled the two apps towards my needs - but it still frustrates me. I would love to replace the whole system for something more practical and convenient. I cannot understand how anyone wanting to use the ABB products for charging their EV can be satisfied.
