We are very happy to recommend Hills Solar. After first seeking quotes we found the solar landscape quite confusing. We had offers ranging from <$5K to >$15k for what on paper looked very similar. Who to trust? What is the difference between the offers? We then found Hills Solar and contacted them based on their reviews. I'm glad we did. They live up to their 5 star reviews. The big difference was the service, the advice and the professional approach. Rhonda was great with her information and quote. She provided real world advice and a comparison of options as she refined the quote to suit our needs. At no time did we feel pressured or rushed. Rhonda listened to what we wanted and tailored Hills Solar offer to best suit our requirements, and she did her best to come as close to our budget as possible. Hills Solar price was not the lowest but was fair and competitive with other local professional solar companies. The other key to our decision was our confidence in Amin and his team. Amin was the only person to come out to our house to review the installation proposal. He went up onto the roof and measured exactly how the panels should go to get the best operational position, and also the best aesthetic appeal. Everyone says that installation is the most important factor for a good solar outcome, and Amin takes great pride in getting that right. Communication leading up to installation was great. On the day, the installation team were all hard working and courteous. Amin was on site the whole time, and ensured that the job was set out exactly how he would want it if it was his own home. They explained everything well, and Rhonda and Amin's son, Tarek, helped throughout and set up the wifi communications. So nice having the care of a hard working family business. The system has only been connected for a couple of weeks. We have 13.2Kw of Aiko Black panels and a 10Kw Sungrow Inverter. We are learning how to monitor the output in different weather conditions. We also know that we have the support of Hills Solar if we have any questions along the way. So far everything looks like it is working as designed.
