Great people to work with!
I asked for a few quotes for different brand batteries with and without extra solar panels. Pete made this simple and with no fuss. He was happy to chat about the different options I was looking at without pressuring me at all. I settled on a Sig Energy battery with Aiko panels at a really competitive price compared with Canberra local installers. Installation was arranged for a Sunday which suited me with delivery of the equipment on the Friday afternoon before by a 3rd party delivery company. Delivery did not go as planned and Luke (Sculli), and Pete quickly arranged for the equipment to be moved from the street where the delivery driver thought was appropriate! No fuss, just got it done. As it turned out, a single phase gateway was delivered and we needed a 3 phase. I noticed this on Saturday morning and Luke arranged a swap over that same day. Installation day was very wet/rainy but the installation team arrived on time and got the 13 new panels installed and the battery stacked. Awesome work and not expected in the rain. The battery installation/commissioning happened a couple of days later (I was not pushing at all) and so far everything is working great. I had a further request of Sculli to enable Modbus on the Gateway/Inverter for integration with my home automation system, I txt Luke before 7 am and he had Pete activate it by 7:30 am same day. What more can you ask for. Great people to work with, great service which was tested when a couple of things didn't go to plan. Highly recommend getting in touch for all you Canberra people who might have second thoughts about getting an installation done by a Sydney company.
Solar Panel - AIKO
Quality panels give you confidence the system should work as expected. This is further boosted when you overhear the installers asking each other what panels they have to install today and their happiness that I'd gone with the Aiko ones.
Solar Inverter - Sigenergy
Went with the Sigenergy kit because of the reputation it is generating at the moment. It doesn't yet have a long track record in Australia but seems to be doing well so far. It does deliver the latest technology and features which was important to me.
Battery - Sigenergy
Battery performance is too early to comment on but I expect them to do well. One of the reasons for choosing the Sigenergy batteries was because of the built in safety features including fire suppression per battery module. The control/visibility of what each battery is doing etc via the app is awesome for a nerd like me and I won't lie, the look of the battery stack with the inverter stacked on top is great. It's a good looking bit of kit.

First rate family business. Professional, prompt, price effective. Unseen obstacles overcome with a minimum of fuss. They deal in quality panels and batteries. All installation technicians are employees of the company so you are eliminating the dramas that come with companies who use subcontractors! 100% best choice.

Battery - SolaX
Happy with brand the only issue is it’s not yet compatible with the amber battery smart meter. Not sure how long other batteries last but ours last all night most nights
