Excellent pre and post sales service, install and walk through.
The sales process was very friendly and not pushy. Chris is an excellent sales person who took his time to answer all my questions and gave info on all the heat pumps l enquired about. The installers were a few hours late due to an emergency call out and l was well informed of the morning. The installer (Rob - l think his name is) is very easy to talk to, friendly. Upon arrival he walked me through the steps involved and discussed with me my needs to installation location etc. He actually managed to get it to the spot l wanted and did a very neat and clean install. Afterwards he did a very through step by step walk through of all the connections, things i'd need to do for future maintenance, operation, setting up for wifi and timers. I am quite impressed with this bloke. The next day l received a call from Chris to see how l am with the heat pump and ended up having a pleasent conversation with him.
Heat Pump - Emerald Energy
I purchased this one cos it was the largest affordable one l could get - 320l with the electric backup. Even though l am single l do have a 4 bedroom house and wanted to future proof myself in case l get more guests staying with me. The unit looks really nice and modern unlike those round ones. I had the installer set to its max of 60degrees and the tempering valve opened (or is it closed) to maximize hot water output to house. The water is nice and HOT!! Only had it for less than a day. So it early to tell. The install was finished by 3pm and was left on boost mode till evening. l had a really nice hot shower by 9pm. It was warmer than l thought. I actually had to turn on the cold water to temper down the hot water. My only and biggest gripe is that the App connection to the unit dropped out within a few hours into the evening and wouldn't reconnect. All day today it keeps stating that it is low on "hot water" After Speaking with Chris, it seems to be a regular issue with this brand - losing wifi connection. So now l need to go outside and set up a timer on the unit itself to operate between 10am to 3pm Kind of defeats the purpose of having and promoting an app - that doesn't work. Its 2024, it should work of the bat. Lost 1 star for that

In my honest opinion, Smarter HomeSolutions is one of the best Heat Pump installing companies in Victoria. Rob is a very friendly plumber and answered every single question I asked. He also explained the operation of the newly installed system. He came on time, took enough time to install and not was in hurry to complete the job, which is rare now-a-days. I highly recommend Smarter Home Solutions for replacement of hot water system without any hassle.
Heat Pump - Aquatech
Aquatics X8 Dynamic is a very silent system with low noise. Water heats up quickly and never runs out. We have 4 people in our house and the 268 litre tank seems good enough for us. Another highlight is the low electricity consumption. Despite the vintage look of the tank, it works perfectly with no issues. I recommend this system.
