On Wednesday 14 March, James gave a presentation to about 60 residents of Ku-ring-gai Council in Sydney. Anyone who is interested can view the slides from the presentation here.
Ku-ring-gai Council has a progressive and ambitious environmental agenda, with an ‘environment levy’ that allows the council to undertake a range of sustainability-focussed projects – including a recently introduced rebate scheme that helps residents pay for solar, battery storage and energy-efficient household devices. Additionally, the council’s GreenStyle program offers free, individualised home energy assessments.
We note that much of the contents of the presentation are also contained in our 8-point guide to solar & storage.
