About Aussie Wide Solar
Aussie Wide Solar was formed in January 2011.
The two founders were working in the solar industry and quickly realised the company that they were working for was just another dodgy sales company.
Realising that the customers deserved a better deal. The Novacastrian’s were wanting a genuine product with honest information from a real company.
After forming the company, it was quickly discovered “the secret sauce was providing the very best products at great value with our own people”
Over the last decade, Aussie Wide Solar has installed more than 100 thousand solar photovoltaic panels. Saving our customers hundreds of thousands of dollars and reducing their reliance on fossil fuels.

Great information regarding a suitable panel system based on our energy requirements and the amount of usable space on our roof. Also regarding the panel and inverter selection. The installers were efficient and the installation was completed in 2 days. They even replaced a couple of tiles that were cracked by others. Aussie Wide Solar even arranged the installation of new service fuses and the new digital meter.
Solar Panel - Suntech
We installed a 6kW system with optimisers. The system is performing well with no indication of any output loss over the last 3 years. This is able to be compared using the Solar Edge app and now our Energy Supplier's app.

The installers dented one of the roofs to such an extent that it created holes. Originally the company agreed they would need to replace the sheets, which was all of the roof but than they became increasingly difficult to deal with, coming up with as many excuses as possible to throw the blame back on to us. When they finally did the replacement they were aggresive and uncooperative and took no care resulting in a finished product which was well below the standard of the original roof. The roof was very old and had been walked across many times by different people and had never been dented, indicating to me that the installers do not know how to walk on a roof in a manner which will not cause damage. Aesthetically the job was unsatisfactory in that things were uneven or crooked. The Manager admitted to us that the workers were not aware if they were drilling through only metal or wood and metal. They apparently do not know how to set the intensity on their equipment as many screws twisted and damaged the roofing, even the new one. The Manager and foreman where difficult and aggressive to deal with. On a positive note the office staff where pleasant and helpful.

Absolute professional job performed by the installers, completed the job in the time promised and provided some good advice on maintaining the equipment short and long term

Did some research and found these were one of the best brands in the market, they do perform well even in very cloudy conditions
