Very poor experience, DO NOT USE! I signed up to Esteem Energy 3 months ago, I received a 1 week commitment on install before signing. During the selling phase they were in contact with me daily. After hearing nothing post paying my deposit, I called up two weeks later only to be told they were waiting on approval from the energy provider. I checked the bill I had sent them and called back to advise they applied to the wrong provider, they then retracted the statement said it was all good and someone would call me soon with an install date. A week later I heard nothing and I called them back and was told someone would call me back ASAP. This continued in a cycle for 10 weeks until I finally got someone who would connect me to the install team. Their excuse was the government was making them do commercial installs first, and said someone would call me back, which never happened. Three months after signing, out of the blue I received my fist contact, someone called me said they would install on Sat 8th Nov. I cancelled my plans and waited at home. At 10am I received a call advising they were missing a $1500 part for the battery which I would have to pay for. By this time I realized they had no intent to install the system and I simply asked for my deposit back, lets see how this plays out! Waste of time and money and the worst purchase experience I have every had in all my years. How they have 120 x 5 star rating's is beyond my comprehension, no communication, no follow up and more hurtful is no product. I found a new provider same price for the same system. I suggest you do the same.

I purchased an 8KW system which consisted of a 3 phase inverter rated to 10 KW and 10 and a bit KW of panels (23 x 440W panels). I added to this a set of panel optimisers and a complete rebuild of my meterboard replacing fuses with circuit breakers. Neil provided an excellent sales service, providing good advice, didn't try to over-sell, in fact tried to talk me out of features he said were overkill (I still went with them though). Communication was excellent (even if there was a little back and forth initially to get what I wanted out of the ordinary on the one contract), I was kept advised of timetables and process at every step. And even when they hit a problem during the upgrade of my meterboard they and their electrical contractor stuck with me and saw things through to a most satisfactory resolution. The solar panel installsation team were punctual and efficient, the whole thing would have been over same day were it not for the electrical snag. Cleanup was excellent with nothing for me to do. The system has been pumping out lots of nice free energy ever since.
