Excel Power was launched in 1993 to provide the Toowoomba and Darling Downs region with a wide range of longer-lasting electrical, solar and air conditioning solutions, whilst maintaining the professionalism and integrity of a local, honest company.

Knowledgeable and professional
I have had many excellent interactions with Excel Power. They installed my Tindo/Enphase solar system in January 25 and the process was smooth and professional. I really liked their service and my system and had them come back in August to install the IQ EV 2 charger and 2x 5P batteries along with some other general electrical work. I have been very happy with the quality of all the work they have performed for me.
Solar Panel - Tindo
I like that Tindo panels are owned and manufactured in Australia. I have been very happy with their performance and they look good too. I have not experienced any issues with them so far.
Solar Inverter - Enphase
My experience with Enphase microinverters has been great. They have been performing well without fault. I had the IQ controller 3 installed at the same time. The app has been very useful in tracking my usage and production. My word of caution is having so much information available at your fingertips tips my be addicting and lead to an unhealthy amount of time spent on the Enlighten app.
Battery - Enphase
I had 2 5P batteries installed. They have been working flawlessly and have already instantly kicked in exactly as described during a power outage. 10kwh has been perfect to get my household through peak pricing period in the evening and cover any gaps in demand and solar production. I usually have plenty of power of left when I go to bed which I pump into the car. They integrate smoothly into the Enlighten app and it is easy to see usage data and adjust settings.
EV Charger -
I am fully integrated into the Enphase ecosystem and the IQ EV 2 fits cleanly into the Enlighten app alongside my batteries and inverters. There are plenty of setting to tailor to your needs and the EVSE can communicate with the solar system and batteries as required.
