REA Solar Reviews
About REA Solar
The REA IQ Solar process starts with the individual component manufacturing by our world leading component manufacturing partners. Once the components are completed they are then assembled in our fully Automated semi-conductor level facilities. After completion the REA IQ Module is created and is sent to the testing facility for performance and reliability analysis. Once completed and certified the REA IQ Module is then shipped directly to the local REA office ready for installation. Our all in-house team then installs the system on the building or ground mounted structure and completes the commissioning procedure ready for grid connection. Finally once the network has connected the REA solar system, our maintenance team monitor the performance and reliability 24/7 remotely from our technology centre. (Providing there is a stable internet connection). We oversee each process and enforce strict quality and testing guidelines to ensure a uniform leading solar product is provided to each client.

After sales service seems a low priority
Review left 2 years after system installed
After sales service seems a low priority. My controller - and therefore batteries - have been out of action for several weeks.
Great team and great product
Great team and great product. Looks modern on the roof and the team did a great job rewiring my switchboard and tidying up everything to make it look like new. I chose REA Solar as their own solar panels are AC with individual converters giving better system visibility on the app able to manage down to each panels individual performance and to reduce fire risk compared to DC systems. The app is great. System has been performing well now for 6 months and no electricity bills anymore.
Solar Panel -
REA Solar panels are all black and look very modern on the roof. Being AC Power
Solar Inverter - Enphase
Enphase inverters on every panel mean better individual control on every panel and no fire risk as the system is AC.
We decided to take the panels with micro-inverters based on various inputs. We also liked the potential for ongoing monitoring of energy generated by phone app. REA sales/information before our decision, came from a qualified engineer, able to answer our questions Installation service was excellent - about half a day with two experienced men on site. They also had the monitoring system working on our phones before they left, and have sent summaries by email since. It's early days but so far we are most satisfied with the system.
From the outset, Brett and REA Solar team were fantastic. They know and are passionate about their products and work towards supplying a solution that is fit-for purpose and meets expectations. It was all shown and calculated out in front of us as to the "real world" generation not just theoretical potential of the system. At first their push towards an alternative (un-conventional?) solution of utilising Micro-inverters initially made us sceptical and sounded very expensive. Once we saw how it worked, what it allowed and comparative generation, it was an easy decision. Backed by their included monitoring and service system which alerted them to issues upon which they will book in a Service and repair any issues/faults under warranty was also a huge draw. The installers were not sub-contractors but REA Solar employees. The install was fast, efficient and neat. The guys onsite were friendly and also passionate about the system they were installing. Wouldn't hesitate (and have already) recommended REA Solar to others.
