Sale process - Never pushy, very well priced, and they use reputable installer.
Sale process - Never pushy. Like most people, we have done our research before deciding on Sigenergy. The order is placed by end of October. However, due to the recall of a module in the inverter, the stock was not received till close to end of December. Right Choice Solar upgraded our new inverter for free (from 8kW to 10kW). They understood the inconvenience caused and did their best to accomodate even though, it was a manufacturer's fault. Price point => GO WITH THEM, THEY ARE VEEERY REASONABLE! Installer (2x installers. 8hrs work) - punctual, tidy and clean . BTW, they came on the Boxing Day, which was really nice. Else, I won't get to use the batteries till Jan (and 2026 summer was really hot). They explained why and where they need to place the battery, inverters and the gateway. This is to accommodate (potential) future upgrades, which I thought was very considerate. Our garage was quite messy, so they also waited for us to clean a little bit more. Very thorough with their work OH&S, and they have changed out some of our old switches - in order to make sure our secondary switchboard are up to today's standards. Explained how to operate the gateway, reset the inverter and how the "island" mode works seamlessly when/ if there is a blackout. Beautiful. He is happy to give pointers/ advice/ how to work on the app too. Post-installation - the inspector came mid january (so ~3 weeks after installation) and asked if it was Sanjay who installed. I said yes. He said to me that this installer is very thorough and meticulous with his workmanship. I am so glad that he said that. Gives me more confidence that the installation was done properly. Overall, besides the fact that my installation was done during peak holiday period, I still got quality product and install. Yes, the total waited time is longer than anticipated due to the inverter recall, but the Right Choice Solar team compensated us handsomely with new, higher spec. Their recommended installer were thorough and meticulous.
Battery - Sigenergy
I am really happy with Sigenergy. The app is very intuitive and easy to understand. The fact that it has a support system on the app, allowing users to diagnose and upload concerns, it tells us the manufacturer is keen to listen and improve. My only qualm is, "I SHOULD HAVE GOT MORE BATTERIES!!!" I have got a 24kW system and I really thought it was enough. To be honest, it is enough. Every night, with the evaporative cooler on, it takes around 16kW/night. But if one plans to install and use aircon, induction cooktop and heat pump (for hot water system), then I may have exhausted the battery.
