The sale, installation and after service was fantastic. When we wanted to install a second battery we were told that they could do that but recommended not to as it would not be value for money.

Excellent panels. During a full moon they will actually collect very low levels due to the solaredge technology.
Battery - LG Chem
We have had one recall already. A big drawback of this battery is that it can only accept and discharge a maximum of 5Kw, no matter how big your inverter is. A Tesla battery accepts and discharges 10KW.
Chris Senarath of Solar Hub was excellent. We installed a 10.4KW, 22 panel solar system with inverters, plus a heat pump hot water system. Our son installed a similar system and recommended Chris and Solar Hub.

Battery - LG Chem
Our battery was part of a recall and free replacement program we were notified about in June 2021.The operation of the battery was adjusted remotely to avoid overheating. So we did not get the full advantage of the system for over 12 months, until it was replaced in September,2022. They did offer electricity bill compensation which was appreciated. But communication from LG was poor. From the time of notification that the battery was faulty we did not hear anything for 12 months and that was only because I rang them. All is good now.

Solarhub were the only ones that offered LG panels. I thought their price was competitive - I got several quotes. The whole process was very professional and communication was excellent. I love the apps that show you in real time how much electricity is being used and where it is coming from. And the kg CO2 saved.

From my very first contact, right through to the "hand-over" of the installed system, the SolarHub people were, without exception, fantastic - and many of them went way beyond what I had expected; everybody used simple language, kept their promises, and were always pleasant and punctual. In short, the whole process was managed superbly, and I have no hesitation in endorsing SolarHub as a solar installer.

I'm quite amazed at the efficiency of my 21 x SolarEdge Smart 370W panels. No matter about the level of cloud cover or what our overnight power consumption has been, there have been very few days when our battery charge level hasn't been restored to 100% well before noon.

My SolarEdge Genesis SE6000H inverter seems to be doing its job very effectively.

The reason we went with SolarHub was because of their knowledge and professionalism. They took the time to explain things and ensure we were happy with every aspect of their product and the installation. They did an amazing job, in all a very seamless, smooth operation from start to finish. It is now over two months since our installation and we are more than happy, especially as we purchased the option of monitoring the solar system and can see the savings it is generating.

The installer I chose was not one of those you recommended. They were local and were one of two that did an on site evaluation. Theirs was comprehensive as was their quote and were very flexible and receptive to what I wanted as opposed to others who just wanted to sell me what they had from a limited selection.
