Bad Communication
Wanted a battery to add to my 7kw solar. It's been nearly 140 days since approval was granted. Still haven't been informed of an installation date. Don't bother ringing the 1300 number......they obviously dont pass messages on or the company couldn't give a R... A.... If the installers are running behind okay, just tell me the install date roughly in so many months time. Better than the current method of leaving us in the dark guessing. Had to leave a rating for the battery type etc.....if it ever comes.

The installers were very professional
The installers were very professional, efficient and simply outstanding level of tradesmen. The sales representative considered our needs and provided an excellent solution for us at a competitive price. An alternative company offered inferior panels and for nearly 60% more in cost.

Solar Panel - Longi
I chose this brand based upon salesperson's recommendation and their suitability for our shaded location.
Solar Inverter - APsystems
We have a microinverter system for each pair of panels as this is a preferrable solution for shaded locations. The app on my phone lets me monitor the panels and system to optimise the power usage in the house. The system can be monitored remotely over the internet.
Battery - APsystems
I am very happy with the battery. However, to extend the life of the 10 kWh battery it only discharges to 20% which gives it a real world capacity of 8kWh of usable power. This has proven sufficient over the summer months to run the house overnight and has put the electricity bill into credit. A larger battery would be difficult to charge because of our shaded location.

The sales process was clear & convincing. The three young installers were careful and very capable. It was lovely to meet them.

Sales process was very easy
Sales process was very easy, the installation was completed on time with no issues. Everything worked as it should. I did need some support later to get the phone app working. Working with Tasmania Safer Solar was easy and they fixed my issues without delay or fuss.

Battery - APsystems
Professional, knowledgeable and Tasmanian team
System by the sales team was explained well and my questions answered thoroughly. The team struck bad weather during the installation process but they persisted and I felt prioritised at all times to allow for completion of the job. Battery didn’t connect to WIFI initially, but I was put in contact with the manufacturer who provided excellent support.

Solar Panel - Longi
Solar panels are matte black (just what I wanted) and look great on the roof (as discreet as a panel can be!). Output works well with my reverse cycle air conditioning which is a real electricity burner.

Very professional crew who knew their job and certainly didn't impose on our daily activities. Polite and efficient, cleaned up thoroughly when finished. Absolutely no complaints from us!

Sales window was tight, with looming cut off of 3yr interest free Battery loan; otherwise applications were promptly handled. Clearly very busy with, but did return calls to subsequent questions: and the locally contracted electrician (S&B Egan) was very consultative, timely snd tidy. All working well, but still waiting for NetWork sign off ( one month)
