I am unable to comment on the efficiency of the system as we have not received a post installation account from Synergy yet. It is expected soon though. The installer was Future Solar of Malaga, Western Australia. They were friendly to deal with right up to the time of the installation. The first team of four installers arrived as arranged, two weeks before last Christmas. I was advised that they could not proceed with the installation because the roof pitch was more than 18%. I was then told that a new installation date had to be organised because they needed at least eight hours to complete the job, instead of the normal four hours. They also had to obtain non slip shoes, harnesses and scaffolding. Soon after I received correspondence from the retailer requesting I pay a further $450.00 to cover for the extra hours of work caused by the pitch of the roof. I was extremely disappointed with these unexpected developments. Following my written threat to cancel the agreement, I was immediately contacted by the manager, Patrick 0456468080. He agreed to organise a different team within a few days instead of having to wait until the end of January 2023. The second team comprised of only two installers. I was surprised to observe they had no harnesses or scaffolding with them. In fact the pitch of the roof did not hinder their progress whatsoever and duly completed the installation in four hours. The only delay was setting up the inverter which took an extra hour for the electrician to complete. He acknowledged that he had never set up a Sungrow inverter before. Soon after the inverter was installed in our garage, we were no longer able to lock and unlock our two cars remotely. We had the same problem with our remote garage door. I immediately notified the solar retailer manager who stated he had never heard of such a problem. He arranged to send the electrician/ installer to inspect the inverter but failed to find any fault. A few days later we received an open letter in our letter box asking if were were experiencing problems with locking and unlocking our cars. Following my telephone call to the writer, he agreed to come and exchange information. He was experiencing the same problems that were plaguing us. He also advised that several other neighbours in the vicinity were also affected. Fortunately the problem was resolved a few days later when a Western Power technician installed a new meter. Accordingly I advised the retailer and asked him if he could offer any explanation as to why a new meter had such an effect. To this day I have not had a reply. I would only give two stars to the retailer. I felt deceived by the roof pitch excuse in order to extract more money from me. Also the inverter installer did not offer to connect the WiFi module to our mobile phone application. We have still not been able to do it ourselves.

Top Service, Sid was very helpful and honest. He answered all my questions and never pushed hard for a sale. The installation crew did a fantastic job. Future Solar have very competitive prices. The 10.53kw solar system looks fantastic with the all black Jinko panels on my black tiled roof along with the 8.2kw Fronius inverter. Now I just have to see how the solar system preforms. I’m sure it will be fine.

The all Black Tiger Solar panels look fantastic. The blend into my roof nicely and look like a nice feature rather then an eyesore. It’s been overcast ever since they have been installed so I have to yet seen there full potential.

The Fronius inverter looks good. The app is limited unless you pay $60 for the premium app. I have not yet purchased the app.
