I left a negative review on 10 January because my system did not work off-grid, which was the main reason for buying it. Peter at Puma ring me on Saturday morning after I left a message (the day after the catastrophic fires in Yea) - we talked and he sent a technician THAT MORNING to fix my issue in Yea. His tech had to talk his way past police road blocks but he did it and fixed the problem by early afternoon. I wasn’t even there having evacuated to the Mornington Peninsular the day before, but the great software had alerted me to the fact that my system was off-grid and once the tech got it working again I was z a ble to see and monitor it remotely despite the power not coming back on in Yea until after midday Sunday. My earlier review was serious at the time but unfair overall. I have tried to remove it - and asked Solar Choice to do so, but they have not and I can’t find a way to do it. I would recommend Puma yo anyone with Peter at the helm - after sales service is so critical, but Peter stepped up when it mattered. Just a word of caution- get the techs to double check all is working right before they leave! In my case it was complicated by the fact that my house hacc dec an older solar system and it was. Lashing with the new one when in off-grid mode which made it shut down after 30 seconds and then try again. That wasn’t enough time for the modem to boot up and work, so we couldn’t see what was going on remotely…..

I live in YEA and PUMA SOLAR installed a 42Kw battery and 13.2Kw of solar panels to deliver an OFF-GRID system for emergency because grid power is intermittent in Yea. The fires yesterday have caused a power outage since late yesterday (9/1/2026) which is continuing. My FOX ESS system will not provide stable 240V power to my house and appliances (comes on for 20 seconds then shuts down) which is the CORE REASON I installed it to to do! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

Puma Solar have proven to be an exceptional company in the supply of my Solar panels plus a Solar battery to my home. From my first meeting with Craig, he explained in detail the financial benefits of an increased Solar Array and then onto the benefits of adding a Solar battery. He made a compelling yet simple story that this new high quality battery would be a game changer. He then assisted in the Financing package to take full advantage of every Govt rebate currently available. Within four days his team of installers arrived at my home with all my new panels and a beautiful new Solar battery. All very professional and friendly guys who then completed the job quickly and efficiently. Job done perfectly. I am now waiting on the Energy Safe Victoria ( ESV ) to come and sign off on the installation and then to click the On switch and start generating free power plus money for any excess. I am the fourth person I know amongst our friends who have used Craig and we are all equally impressed with Puma Solar. Truly Impressed with Their After-Sales Service! I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Puma Solar. From the start, the team was friendly, professional, and made everything so easy to understand. But what really stood out was their after-sales service — it’s been amazing! Anytime I had a question or needed help, they responded quickly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was running perfectly. It's rare to find a company that genuinely cares after the job is done. Highly recommend them if you're looking for quality solar and outstanding support!

I finally made the decision to have solar panels installed, thankfully Puma Solar made it a smooth process from quote to installation. The quote was fair and customer service was exceptional. I opted for AE panels and Saj inverters.

One star is too many. Misleading from the start , then a serious error made by staff. Potentionally life threatening. No efficient design for our premises. No advice or user instructions. A standard speedy set up likely not ideal for location and considerable probs with minimum help and not even an apology. Avoid them at all costs

We were happy at the price quoted at the Sales stand. I was shocked to find later we also had a 4 year loan to pay off as well. The installers were good except 2 of them couldn’t speak English. They were very neat and tidy. We have been waiting for help with our Inverter since early June and are still waiting.
