Installed less than a week from signing up. Cheapest installers in the market too, especially for a company that has been here for years (quoted price may vary as I was referred this price). Would recommend to others. Installers finishing DC Coupling the 42kwh system in just 3 hours, including upgrading the wiring to the switchboard. Installers cleaned up after themselves and install was tidy. Post installation has been great so far, almost instant response, even on the weekends (requests for firmware updates).
Battery - Fox-ESS
Best bang for your buck, no one comes close. Compared to other brands, the forums for this brand don’t show any hardware complaints which is very reassuring, though software lacks behind. Even though it’s new to the market in Australia, it’s a big player in the international market. And support in Australia has been great so far. Would recommend to anyone trying to get a realistic ROI on a battery.
Virtual Power Plant - Amber
Amber is excellent for those with big batteries. However it needs a bigger team, QLD is not as volatile as NSW, SmartShift has a long way to go. But with HomeAssistant, you will have a perfect system to net you profits instead of paying bills.

Local contractor/installer was great. Solar Miner "James" not his real name as he is Indian was very pushy. As a whole getting the solar array installed has been a waste of money even though the gov helps out. The whole industry lies about the savings you can expect when you install these systems. Add to this the shitty feed in tariffs offered by the utility companies. The whole thing is a scam.
