I had my solar panels installed by Solar...

I had my solar panels installed by Solar Secure which was done smoothly in January 2025. As such, I referred them to my cousin and their sales representatives Nick promised referral fee. However, after almost 1 year after my cousin installed their solar panel and battery system, I still not receive the referral fees even after repeated chasing after Nick. Also, I asked Nick to quote me the installation of battery system. However, the battery system was not installed after continued delay by Nick with excuses like stock shortage and not getting Grid approval. However, when I check with the Grid approval official, I was told by the official that it was Solar Secure not telling the truth. As a result, I have the impression that Solar Secure or their sales specialist Nick are not trustworthy. I have my solar battery professionally installed by another company at a more competitive price within a week after I contacted them for quote.

The system has worked flawlessly. If was cheaper at the time than any other quote and I have just referred somebody who got the same system slightly cheaper 3 years later. Sales interaction was good and the installer called a week earlier than planned to fit the system and I thought was very professional

Solis deleted years of our data without warning and without caring. They built a new data reporting app but didn't think to migrate the historical data. The inverter is working okay but Solis doesn't understand that data is a valuable part of managing energy usage.
